Moon Lee is an former Hong Kong actress who played frequently in martial arts movies.

She lived in Hong Kong till her sixth when the family moved to Kaohsiung in Taiwan, where she lived between her sixth and twelfth.  Her father was business man and her mother was born and raised in Hong Kong. She currently lives in Denver (Colorado) with her husband.

She studied at the Youchang Elementary School, where she learned mandarin Chinese during her time in Taiwan. She studied at the middle school where she graduated after her return in Hong Kong when she was 18. She learned mandarin Chinese and took piano and dance lessons when she was younger.

She was discovered accidentally by television director Hsiao Hsianhui during a school dancing performance when she was 15. She was approached to play country girl A Mun in the television series "Fatherland", what she could combine with school, because the recordings did not take much time. She made an impressive performance in the series what a good start is of her movie career. Her dance background is perfect to perform in action movies with her agile and flexible movements.

She did an advertisement for Mitsubishi in Japan and the company asks her to pick an English name. She chose for Moon with the Mn pronunciation in Cantonese and Lee as last name.

She is passionately involved in the promotion of the art of dance after she quits as actress in the late 90's. She established a dancing school for cultivate talented dancers and her students won excellent awards in Hong Kong dance competitions.

She started her action movie career when she signed an contract with HK movie production company Golden Harvest.

She made her action movie debut as countess guard Mu Sang next to Brigitte Lin and Sammo Hung in "Zu: The Warriors from the Magic" (1983).

She plays Choi-fung Li who is the girlfriend of agent CID 07 (played by Jackie Chan) in ''Winners and Sinners'' (1983). Five friends are released from prison and do their best to stay out trouble. The five friends become unfortunately caught up in a war between rival Triad gangs who fighting for controlling the counterfeit currency market.

She plays Fung in this story about movie stunt actors Chiu Chi-Lung (played by Biao Yuen) and Ng Kuai-Tak (played by Eric Tsang) from Hong Kong who are suspicious with mysterious behavior  in ''Those Merry Souls'' (1985). Chiu is the "messenger" of the Spirit World who take newly-departed souls to the other side. He let NG's soul revive after suffering a major accident on the movie set. Chiu is punished for messing with the Spirit World's procedures, while Lung becomes unfortunately the next "messenger".

She plays alongside action heroines Michelle Yeoh, Kara Hui, Sibelle Hu and Sandra Ng in "Twinkle Twinkle Lucky Stars" (1985). Jackie Chan plays undercover cop Muscles who reunites with his childhood friends also known as the "Five Lucky Stars". The friends travel to Japan to help Muscles with rolling up a Yakuza group.

She plays one of the angels in "Iron Angels" (1987), a movie inspired by Charlie's Angels. The angels have the job to take a massive drug shipment in batter, with help of the American secret service. Female kung fu killer Madame Sue (played by Yukari Oshima) is hired by the drug Lord for a amount of 10 million Swiss francs in order to destroy the angels. The angels must stop the drugs lord and Madame Sue at all costs.

She plays one of the angels again who are battling against the fascist psychopath Peter Kam (played by Ting-Wai Chan) in the sequel "Iron Angels II'' (1988). CIA agent Marco (played by Yu Lung Hsiao) and the angels get a tour at the palm oil fields of Peter. Marco discovers that the fields are a cover for his guerrilla army. The angels come to rescue him when he's captured by peter. The angels get help of the local Malayasian angel Kharina (played by Kharina Sa) in their fight against an guerrilla army in the jungle, while they use heavy weapons.

She plays the mysterious Fung who foiled the most dangerous drug deal of the century, together with Chiu Shing (played by Francis Ng) in ''Devil Hunters'' (1989). Their action results that the druglords begin to suspect each other. Both women are part of an unusual partners alliance in order to fight against their enemies.

She plays Yau Li who is member of the secret operational unit "Blue Angels" in ''Killer Angels'' (1989). The unit is led by the mysterious Miss Sung (played by Pui-Kei Chan).
